The latest versions of Magento 2.2 and 2.1 were released on May 2. The updates include many fixes, enhancements and new features.
Magento 2.2.4
This update is with almost 200 community contributions and 80 fixes very large. You should install the update soon, because it fixes a lot of issues and improves the overall performance of Magento.
The highlights of the latest version are:
- Support for Amazon Pay
- Automated calculation of sales taxes with Vertex
- A new payment method called Klarna Payments
- Fixes and enhancements for Magento Shipping and dotmailer extensions
- Performance improvements and better experience with enhancements for all kind of features
Enhancements
The most important enhancements are in the Magento Shipping and dotmailer extensions, but this update includes also enhancements for other core features. Here are some of the big enhancements:
- The admin global search takes now the ACL settings in account
- The new syntax checker enforces the short array syntax convention
- Payment and shipping debug log files are new
- The ability for custom email templates and to set transactional email at the Store level, better syncs of sales data were added in dotmailer
Fixes
- Issues in the installation process and dedicated functions for deployment were fixed
- The catalog issues for instance the issue in the product display within categories that have been filtered by price and false display of stock status for products have been resolved. Many other issues that appeared in the display of products and the managing of them have been resolved too.
- The checkout process has been improved by fixing issues.
- Issues in customer accounts, configurable products, dashboard, directory, attributes, email, framework, indexing, orders, payment methods, search and other core features of Magento have been fixed too.
- The many fixes improve also the performance.

Magento 2.1.13
The update for the older version of Magento is smaller but still includes many bug fixes and enhancements.
The most important fixes and enhancements are:
- Many issues in the catalog, for example false display of final prices in some configurable products have been resolved.
- Magento now flushes the full page cache for all products that have been reindexed.
- Magento now saves images as expected when you create a new category that contains an image.
- Magento now creates a URL rewrite when you save a newly created CMS page.
- Issues with configurable products, customers, framework, order management, payment methods, search and other core features have been fixed.
