First Magento 2 Developer Event (DevParadise 2015 Recap)

I just got back from my favorite developer and sports event of the year. This was already the 4th winter edition of Magento Developers Paradise, which took place from January 11 through 14 in Kaprun, Austria, just one hour from the city of Mozart, Salzburg. I arrived already 2 days before the official event to get some extra skiing time, but the weather on Saturday and Sunday was pretty rough as you can see on this video.

On Freeride Monday my buddy Christian Philipp and I experienced the fascination of freeriding with technique and safety tips from Michi Hartweger. Every year there might be five days with perfect freeriding conditions and Michi said that this might have been one of them. The avalanche danger level on that day was 4 which is rather dangerous, but Michi made sure we were on the safe side.

Thanks to Tobias Kämpfe and the rest of the Meet Magento crew for organizing. You guys do an amazing job – as always!

Christian also wrote a recap of the event in German and you also might want to check out the #DevParadise tweets. If I have forgotten to mention anything else worth mentioning or you have blogged about the event yourself, please leave a comment.
