Magento 1.9.3.2, 2.0.12 and 2.1.4 Updates

Magento 2.1.4

Magento has a new update with more than 20 functional fixes and enhancements. The update was released on February 7 and contains also a fix for a vulnerability.

The highlights of this version are:

  • Removal of vulnerability with the Zend framework library.
  • Updates to the catalog, payment, and sales modules.
  • The storefront gallery now displays all the images associated with a configurable product.
  • Magento now displays the This is a required field message immediately adjacent to the product options as needed during checkout.
  • Magento now successfully estimates shipping costs.
  • The indexers were improved and problems with them were solved.
  • Problems with the installation were fixed.
  • Magento now displays the price of out-of-stock products.
  • The Allow Gift Wrapping for Order Items setting now works as expected.
  • Information set by the Default Billing Address and Default Shipping Address checkboxes on the Customer page are now saved correctly.
  • Admin users with appropriate permissions can now reset the passwords of more than one customer at a time.
  • If you remove an item from the Compare Items list that is displayed on any Category page, Magento no longer redirects you to the Compare Products page.
  • The order comments history no longer duplicates the time that a comment was made.
  • You can now successfully complete Paypal checkout with products that have custom options and problems with Paypal were fixed.
  • Magento no longer displays the No Payment method available message when a customer tries to ship items to a billing-restricted country.

Magento 2.0.12

This update contains some of the enhancements form 2.1.4 but also other ones. It was released on February 7 and contains also more than 20 fixes and enhancements.

The Highlights are:

  • Removal of vulnerability with the Zend framework library.
  • Updates to the catalog, payment, and sales modules.
  • You can now directly add a configurable product (with all possible options defined) to your shopping cart from the category page.
  • Admin users can no longer create an empty URL key for a category.
  • Magento now successfully saves a product even when you include an empty Custom Options row.
  • The Use Default Checkboxes for Custom Options option now works as expected.
  • Magento now displays the Thank you for your purchase! message after a customer successfully checks out.
  • You can now create a new order from the Magento Admin.
  • Magento no longer deletes a product after you select the Replace option while importing a product.
  • You can now use Extension Manager to uninstall extensions that were installed using Composer.
  • Admin users now need view permission to the store to which the customers belong in order to see information about those customers.
  • Improvements of the installation process.
  • You can now ship items to a country from which you have not authorized payment.
  • An Admin user with restricted permissions no longer has access to all orders.

Magento CE 1.9.3.2

This patch contains just two fixes for following issues:

  • Removal of vulnerability with the Zend framework library.
  • Updated the copyright year to 2017.
