Unsere zertifizierte Suchmaschinenoptimierungs-Beraterin Anita erklärt in einem aktuellen Blogbeitrag warum die Auswirkungen von SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Massnahmen nicht direkt einen Erfolg bringen, sondern langfristig zu bewerten sind. Generell umfasst die Suchmaschinenoptimierung eine Reihe von Strategien, Techniken und Praktiken. Diese zielen darauf ab, die Sichtbarkeit und das Ranking (die Positionierung) einer Website in den organischen (nicht bezahlten) Suchergebnissen zu verbessern.
Suchmaschinen wie Google und Bing besuchen regelmässig die vorhandenen Webseiten, um diese zu indexieren und um die Inhalte zu verstehen. Je besser dies gelingt, umso höher ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Suchmaschinen die entsprechende Seite bei einer passenden Suchanfrage anzeigen. D.h. je besser die Website SEO-optimiert ist, je höher ist die Chance auf ein besseres Ranking.

Haupt-Keyword strategisch richtig einsetzen
Im Bereich der Suchmaschinenoptimierung (SEO) spielen das Haupt-Keyword und weitere Unter-Keywords eine entscheidende Rolle. Der Einsatz und die Verteilung im Text entscheiden darüber, ob die Inhalte bei entsprechenden Suchanfragen von den Suchmaschinen angezeigt werden oder nicht.
Ein Haupt-Keyword ist dabei das zentrale Schlagwort, welches die Hauptthematik des Textes oder der Webseite repräsentiert. Werden zum Beispiel Backzutaten und -utensilien in einem Webshop verkauft, so ist das Hauptschlagwort „Backen“.

Eine neue Art, Gesundheitsvorsorge zu erleben
Als erste Krankenversicherung der Schweiz hat Sanitas einen interaktiven Experience Space im Metaverse lanciert. Besucherinnen und Besucher können dort Sanitas in virtueller Umgebung erleben. Im Fokus stehen dabei Themen, die uns alle betreffen:
- Krankenversicherung
- Gesundheit
- Gesundheitsförderung.
Das Sanitas Metaverse ist ein Pilotversuch und dient dazu, erste Erfahrungen mit der virtuellen Realität zu sammeln. Ziel ist es, die Technologie kennenzulernen und Wissen über das neue Medium aufzubauen. In einem ersten Schritt sollen Informationen zu Sanitas sowie deren Services erlebbar gemacht werden. Beispielsweise kannst du im Ernährungsbereich testen, ob du weisst, welche Nahrungsmittel in der übergrossen Schweizer Lebensmittelpyramide wohin gehören. Im Obergeschoss zeigen Avatare Fitnessübungen – ganz einfach zum Mitmachen. Und im Outdoor-Meditationsbereich kannst du den stressigen Alltag hinter dir lassen. In einem zweiten Schritt sollen auch Events oder Beratungen im Sanitas Metaverse stattfinden.

WordPress 6.3 «Lionel»
Am 8. August wurde WordPress 6.3 «Lionel» veröffentlicht, benannt nach dem amerikanischen Jazz-Künstler Lionel Hampton.
Mit der neuen WordPress-Version könnt ihr eure Website noch effizienter erstellen. Egal ob ihr eine Website komplett ohne Programmierung erstellt oder als Entwickler:in jedes Detail anpassen möchtet, WordPress 6.3 hat etwas für alle dabei.
WordPress 6.3.1 Maintenance Release
This minor release from August 29, 2023 features 4 bug fixes in Core and 6 bug fixes for the block editor. You can review a summary of the maintenance updates in this release by reading the Release Candidate announcement.
WordPress 6.3.1 is a short-cycle release. The next major release will be version 6.4 planned for November 2023. If you have sites that support automatic background updates, the update process will begin automatically.
WooCommerce 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 Fix Release
WooCommerce 8.0.0 was released on August 8, 2023. This release should be backwards compatible with the previous version.
- New WooCommerce Blocks Templates
- Introducing new banner patterns
- New settings added to the Mini-Cart
- Image size settings added to the Product Image block
- woocommerce_before_delete_order – Fires immediately before an order is deleted from the database. (Note: this was added for the CPT data store).
WooCommerce 8.0.2 Fix Release
WooCommerce 8.0.2 was released on August 15, 2023.
This release fixes an issue inadvertently introduced in 8.0.0 that caused the minimum length for attribute values to be three characters long.
WooCommerce 8.0.3 Fix Release
WooCommerce 8.0.3 was released on August 29, 2023.
- WooCommerce Blocks has been updated to 10.6.6. This fixes an issue where under certain circumstances cart and checkout pages would incorrectly be replaced with cart and checkout blocks. For complete details, see the release notes for 10.6.6.
- A performance improvement to fix unnecessary queries related to WooPayments Incentives.
Magento 2.4.6-p2, 2.4.5-p4 and 2.4.4-p5 Security Releases
On August 7, 2023 Adobe released 3 new versions of Magento 2.4.
jQuery-UI library version 1.13.1 has a known security vulnerability (CVE-2022-31160) that affects multiple versions of Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source. This library is a dependency of Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source 2.4.4, 2.4.5, and 2.4.6. Merchants running affected deployments should apply the patch specified in the Query UI security vulnerability CVE-2022-31160 fix for 2.4.4, 2.4.5, and 2.4.6 releases Knowledge Base article.
